Privacy Policy
Draft, to be reviewed by counsel. This is a starter document and is not yet final legal advice or a binding version of our terms.

This policy explains how silentugc (“we”) handles personal data when you use silentugc. For the data you put into your workspace, we act as a processor on your behalf; for account, billing and site-usage data we are the controller.
1. What we collect
- Account data: your email, name and profile image (if you sign in with Google), workspace membership and role.
- Workspace content: app URLs you submit and the public pages we read from them, brand briefs, logos, app screenshots, uploaded clips, reference links, custom creator descriptions, hooks and rendered videos.
- Billing data: plan, invoices and credit history. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and logs we need for security, rate limiting and debugging.
AI creators are synthetic; we do not ask for, and you must not upload, photos or recordings of real people to create one. We don't use advertising trackers on the app.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: sign you in, generate and render your ads, and store them in your workspace.
- To bill you and keep an accurate credit ledger.
- To keep the Service secure, enforce our Terms and prevent abuse.
- To send service emails such as sign-in links, receipts and important changes.
We don't sell personal data. We don't use your workspace content to train our own AI models. Our AI providers process it under their commercial API terms.
3. Processors
We share data with these service providers only as needed to run silentugc:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | Claude models write brand briefs and hooks, and analyse reference videos | Your site's public content, brand brief, reference video frames and metadata, campaign text |
| fal.ai | AI image and video generation (creator portraits and footage) | Generation prompts, creator descriptions, reference-derived shot descriptions |
| Cloudflare | Web hosting, content delivery and file storage | Request data (IP address, browser), uploaded files and rendered videos |
| Stripe | Payments, subscriptions and invoices | Billing name, email, payment details (held by Stripe, not us), plan and invoice history |
| Neon | Managed Postgres database | Account, workspace, brand, campaign and credit records |
| Upstash | Managed Redis for job queues and rate limiting | Job identifiers and short-lived queue state |
We also use an email delivery provider to send sign-in links. Some processors are located in the United States; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
4. References
When you add a reference link, we fetch the public video to analyse its format. The analysis (a structured description) may be cached and shared across workspaces; the original video is not included in anyone's output.
5. Retention and deletion
- Workspace content is kept while your account is open, so you can re-download and iterate on your ads.
- You can delete brands, campaigns and uploads in the studio at any time.
- To delete your account and workspace, email hello@silentugc.com from your account address. We delete workspace content and account data within 30 days, and remove it from backups on their normal rotation.
- We keep billing records as long as tax and accounting law requires.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict some processing. Contact us at hello@silentugc.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. The studio stores small preferences in your browser, such as your theme. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it. Files are served through expiring, signed links. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at hello@silentugc.com if you find a problem.
9. Changes
We'll post updates here and notify you of material changes by email or in the product.
